Rajinikanth Meets Uddhav Thackeray: Veteran actor Rajinikanth met Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray at his residence ‘Matoshree’ in Mumbai on Saturday (March 18).
A party leader called it a courtesy meeting as Rajinikanth has been a staunch supporter of Shiv Sena founder late Bal Thackeray. He said that this was a non-political meeting between Rajinikanth and Uddhav Thackeray. Uddhav Thackeray’s wife Rashmi and sons Aditya and Tejas welcomed actor Rajinikanth at their home ‘Matoshree’ in suburban Bandra.

Former minister and sitting MLA Aditya Thackeray tweeted a picture of his family welcoming Rajinikanth with bouquets and shawls. Regarding this, Aditya wrote a caption in it that once again it was a pleasure to see Rajinikanth in Matoshree.

when did rajinikanth come first
Rajinikanth met Bal Thackeray in October 2010 at Matoshree. In July 2021, Rajinikanth announced that he would dissolve his political party, Rajini Makkal Mandram, and had no intention of entering politics in the future. The Shiv Sena faction led by Uddhav Thackeray is a constituent of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
