BJP Worker Death Case: A BJP worker was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kolkata’s Kashipur area on Friday morning. After this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived on a two-day tour of West Bengal, went to the worker’s house and met his family members.
Amit Shah said that today BJP’s Yuva Morcha Vice President Arjun Chaurasia has been politically murdered. It is only yesterday that the TMC government has completed one year, on the second day the tradition of political violence has started in Bengal. There are many examples of political violence and selective targeting of opposition workers across Bengal. There is a conspiracy to create an atmosphere of fear.
Amit Shah said, “We condemn the killing of Arjun. Going before the court of justice, whoever is accused, will ensure that they get the harshest punishment. Its investigation should be handed over to the CBI.
The body of BJP Yuva Morcha worker Arjun Chaurasia was found hanging from a noose inside a deserted building in Ghosh Bagan area, police said. The BJP has alleged that the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) killed the worker, though the party has denied the allegations.
Chaurasia’s family has demanded a CBI inquiry into his death, while BJP workers protested when the police tried to remove his body from the spot. A large number of policemen were sent to the spot to control the situation.
