Amit Shah and Sourav Ganguly met, had dinner together


Amit Shah Meets Sourav Ganguly: Union Home Minister Amit Shah met BCCI President Sourav Ganguly on Friday, the last day of his two-day tour of West Bengal. The meeting took place at Sourav Ganguly’s residence. During this, Shah and Ganguly also had dinner together. During this, other leaders including West Bengal BJP President Dr Sukant Majumdar, Leader of Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari and Swapan Das Gupta were also present. During this, Ganguly and Amit Shah were seen talking.


When Home Minister Amit Shah reached Ganguly’s house, a crowd of people was seen on the way. During this, Amit Shah greeted the people with folded hands. When Ganguly was asked about meeting Amit Shah, he said that political meanings should not be made about the dinner. He said that he has known Amit Shah for more than a decade and has met him several times.


Ganguly said on Friday, “…we have a lot to talk about. I have known him since 2008. When I used to play, we used to meet.” I work with It’s an old association.”

Let us inform that even before the West Bengal assembly elections, there was speculation about former Indian team captain Sourav Ganguly joining BJP. There was a discussion that BJP can make Ganguly the face in the assembly elections. However, Ganguly continued to deny this and did not join any party.
