In Tripura, BJP has fielded candidates on 55 seats. The party has left 5 seats for its ally. In Meghalaya, BJP has fielded candidates on all 60 seats, while in Nagaland the party will contest on 20 seats. Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah will be in Tripura on Monday (February 6). The total number of voters in Meghalaya is around 21 lakh while the total number of voters in Nagaland is 13,09,651. There are a total of 31.47 lakh women voters in the three states. In all the three states, 1.76 lakh voters will take part in the polling for the first time. The number of voters above 80 years of age is 97,000. There are 31,700 disabled voters. 2,600 voters are above 100 years of age.
