Suvendu Adhikari: West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Sunday accused state Chief Secretary H.K. Summoned immediate report from Dwivedi.

The Governor said that such action on an MLA’s office is a matter of deep concern. He tweeted, ‘In the matter of worrying information received from Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly Shubhendu Adhikari, a report has been summoned immediately from the Chief Secretary, in which his (Shubhendu) MLA office at Nandigram was attacked by the police.’

Dhankhar said that the Chief Secretary has been asked to submit the report by 10 pm in this matter. Later, Shubhendu Adhikari took to social media to say that the police entered his office by force. Sharing three videos in support of his claim, BJP leader Shubhendu said, “Without any prior information, without showing any search warrant and without the presence of a magistrate, the ‘Mamata’ police (West Bengal Police) forcefully attacked my office in Nandigram. I entered.’


Shubhendu Adhikari alleged, ‘This is a lousy and cruel act of the Mamata Banerjee government. This is a conspiracy against the Leader of the Opposition.
