Earlier, a BMC team had reached the Khar suburb apartment of Independent MP Navneet Rana and her husband and MLA Ravi Rana on Wednesday, but it was found closed. However, he got bail now.
Officials found Rana couple’s flat closed
There was a complaint of illegal construction on the eighth floor of Lavi Bhavan, where the Rana family has an apartment, the official said. A team of seven to eight officials visited the building around 12.30 pm, but Rana’s apartment was closed, so the team returned without inspecting, he said, adding that the team would visit the house again on Thursday or Friday.
Uddhav Thackeray accused of misusing power
Earlier on May 9, after coming out of the hospital, once again attacking Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, said that his fight would continue. He also accused Uddhav Thackeray of misusing power and challenged him to show if he has the courage to contest the elections against him.
