Now the police has started action in the matter of putting up Khalistani flags in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly building. The Himachal Police has made Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, General Council of Sikhs for Justice, the main accused in this case. Along with this, an FIR has also been registered, in which a case has been registered under several serious sections including UAPA.
Instructions given to all districts
According to Himachal Pradesh Police, a case has been registered under Section 153-A, 153-B of IPC and Section 13 of UAPA. Apart from this, the interstate borders have been sealed to nab the accused. For this, instructions have been given to the police officers of every district. Simultaneously, raids are being conducted at all such places where there is a possibility of Khalistani supporters hiding.
What is the whole matter?
In fact, flags of Khalistan were hung on the main gate of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly and some objectionable slogans were also written on its walls. These flags were found hanging on the outer side of the main gate number one of the assembly complex, which was later removed by the administration. After this the police started investigating the matter. Condemning the incident, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that the culprits would be caught soon. “Himachal is a harmonious state and peace should prevail here. Wherever the culprits of the incident in Dharamsala are, they will be caught soon. This cowardly phase of those people will not last long. Certainly the strictest action will be taken against the perpetrators of this incident.
