Guna Incident Update: 3 policemen were shot dead in Guna of Madhya Pradesh. And a soldier was seriously injured. The incident is being told between 3 and 4 am on Saturday. The bodies of the three policemen have been brought to the district hospital. It is being told that the poachers of blackbuck have shot dead the three policemen. The policemen who were killed include SI Rajkumar Jatav, Havildar Santram Meena and constable Neeraj Bhargava. Constable Lakhan Giri is admitted in the district hospital in critical condition.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, after an emergency meeting at his residence, announced a Samman Nidhi of Rs one crore each to the families of the three policemen. While paying tribute to the police personnel, Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar said that the guilty will not be spared. Expressing condolences to the families of the soldiers who made sacrifices, the Energy Minister said that strict steps will be taken to prevent recurrence of such crimes in future.

In the forest of Shahrok, 4-5 miscreants were seen going by bike. When the police laid siege, they started firing. The police also retaliated. In this, three policemen died on the spot. The remains of five deer and a peacock have been seized from the poachers.
