Kurnool: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the world’s largest integrated renewable energy harvesting project. The project is being executed by Greenco Group in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. This 5230 MW Integrated Renewable Energy Storage Project will play a key role in ensuring energy security in India and enable energy transition globally.
‘history is being created with this project’
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy said that History is being made with the project. He said, ‘‘This project of Andhra Pradesh will give impetus to the economy of the entire country in the coming days. This will encourage the use of renewable energy, leaving behind the use of fossil fuels. He commended the Greenco Group for setting up the world’s largest renewable energy storage unit. The Chief Minister said, ‘‘This project will encourage the vision of clean energy round the clock."
‘This project will show how to generate green energy’
Jaganmohan Reddy said, “ Will provide special opportunities for decarbonization of the economy. We have 33000 MW capacity available in the state and this project will show how to generate green energy.”
