The big leader of Punjab, Sunil Jakhar had tendered his resignation in the middle of Congress Chintan Shivir. Jakhar was angry with the party high command for a long time. After which he broke the ties of 50 years and joined BJP.
Big setback before Gujarat elections
After Sunil Jakhar, the second major setback to the Congress was in Gujarat. Where Patidar leader and state president Hardik Patel announced his resignation. With his resignation, Hardik Patel also wrote a letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, in which he described the Congress as a party doing only the politics of protest, while praising the BJP government by referring to issues like Article 370, Ram Mandir and CAA-NRC. did too. At present, Hardik Patel has not joined any party, but it is believed that he can join BJP before the elections.
Kapil Sibal resigns
In the last 10 days, the third major setback to the Congress has come in the form of former Union Minister and senior party leader Kapil Sibal. Sibal suddenly disclosed that he has resigned from Congress and is going to Rajya Sabha with the support of Samajwadi Party. Kapil Sibal was part of the angry group G-23 of the Congress, he was constantly raising questions about the leadership of the party, after which he has decided to leave the party.
