Good News: Relief news has come from Delhi’s All India Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Delhi AIIMS has now made the test conducted for less than Rs 300 absolutely free for patients across the country. This decision of AIIMS will benefit lakhs of patients of the country. Economically weak people of the country will get the benefit of this. Now AIIMS will conduct any such test for free, which will cost up to Rs 300. This order issued by the AIIMS administration has also been implemented with immediate effect.

This premier medical institute of the country has announced a big relief to the people of the economically weaker sections on Thursday. Now after this order of AIIMS, many types of tests like X-ray, urine test, ultrasound, blood test will now be done absolutely free of cost. In the order issued by Medical Superintendent Dr. DK Sharma, it has been told that AIIMS is giving approval to abolish all examination/laboratory fees up to ? 300 in AIIMS hospital and all centers with immediate effect. Patients getting treatment in AIIMS will get the benefit of this.

The rule came into force after five years

Let us tell you that this decision comes almost five years after Dr Randeep Guleria first proposed him during the first year of his direction. Patients from all over India come to this facility in Delhi for better treatment. The statement issued by the AIIMS administration read, “The Chairman is hereby approved to do away with the user charges for all tests/laboratory charges currently costing up to ?300 per procedure at AIIMS Hospital and all centers with immediate effect. “

Fee hiked in private ward
On the one hand, where the AIIMS administration has given relief to the patients by providing free tests up to Rs 300, on the other hand the private ward has doubled the fees. On the other hand, now getting treatment in private ward of AIIMS will also become costly. Where now 6000 for A category and Rs 3300 for B category will have to be paid per day. Apart from this, 300 rupees will also have to be paid per diet for food.
