The flood situation in Assam worsened on Thursday and another person died due to this. 27 districts of the state and about 7.18 lakh people living here have been affected by the floods. According to the daily flood report of the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, one person died due to drowning in Kampur revenue area of ??Nagaon district. Apart from this, two more people are missing in Kampur, it has been said. With this, the death toll due to floods and landslides in the state has risen to ten this year, the report said. At the same time, in view of the situation, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in the state on May 21.

According to the department, there is a situation of heavy rains for which they have warned the citizens. The department has predicted more than 100 mm of rain per day in most of the districts of Meghalaya. Talking about the temperature, in most of the districts of the state, the minimum temperature can remain up to 16 degrees and the maximum temperature can be up to 21 degrees.
Heavy rains and landslides have wreaked havoc in Arunachal Pradesh. Due to rain in the capital Itanagar, landslides were seen on the previous day, in which 4 people have died and 6 people have been seriously injured. At the same time, now the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert till Saturday. Today 16 degree minimum temperature and 21 degree maximum temperature may remain in most of the districts of the state.
In Manipur, due to landslides including heavy rains incessantly for the past few days, life has been completely affected. The state government has issued a statement saying that they are fully prepared to deal with the problems. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert till Saturday. The Bailey bridge collapsed due to floods and landslides, due to which the Imphal Jiribam Highway has been cut. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Tripura, Nagaland and Mizoram in the northeast till Saturday.
