The hearing on the Gyanvapi Masjid-Shringar Gauri dispute was held for the first time in the Varanasi district court today after it was transferred from the sessions court. The case was opened for the first time in the court of District Judge Ajay Kumar Vishvesh. But the Muslim side argued that this matter was not worth hearing and due to this the Muslim side filed a petition under Order 7 Rule 11. Under this order, there is a right to challenge the claim of the plaintiff, under which the court decides whether the case is worth hearing or not. During the hearing, the judge inquired about the application of all the parties and also inquired about the report of the commission. The court of District Judge AK Vishvesh on Monday reserved its decision till Tuesday on which case will be heard first.
