Two questions are very important in the controversy regarding the measurement of the famous Gyanvapi Mosque of Varanasi, on which the district court has to decide today. The first question is whether the mosque will be surveyed further or not? Apart from this, whether the court commissioner conducting the survey will be changed or not.
This matter went to court because Hindu and Muslim parties are face to face regarding the survey. The team reached the mosque for two days last week for survey, but the survey could not be done. The controversy over the survey is happening because the Hindu side alleged that many people were present inside the mosque. Those who did not allow the survey to be done properly. The Muslim side says that in the name of survey, efforts were being made to damage the walls of the mosque. The court had reserved its decision on this matter yesterday and the verdict is expected today. The Muslim side wants the court commissioner to be changed in this case.
Hearing on Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute
At the same time, apart from Gyanvapi, today there is also a hearing regarding the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute of Mathura. This hearing is to be held in Allahabad High Court. In the petition of Shri Krishna Virajman, who filed the suit, to free 13.37 acres of land of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, royal from Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi complex EidAn appeal has been made to remove the Gah Masjid and ensure daily hearing in the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute. The UP Sunni Central Waqf Board has been made a party to the petition. Hearing in this matter will be held in the Allahabad High Court at around 12 noon today in a single bench.
