High alert after attack outside intelligence office in Mohali, security at key places increased


Blast In Mohali: In Punjab’s Mohali, late on Monday evening, there was a rocket attack on the headquarters building of the Intelligence Unit of Punjab Police. Which has put everyone in a quandary, about which Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has taken information about the whole matter from the DGP. At the same time, Punjab Police has tightened security in the surrounding areas.

At present, Mohali’s SP (Headquarters) Ravinder Pal Singh while talking to media persons has said that its investigation is going on. On the other hand, when asked whether it can be considered a terrorist attack, he says that it cannot be ignored. We are investigating it. From which it has become clear that there may be a conspiracy of terrorists in this attack on the intelligence system of Punjab Police.


SP (headquarters) Ravinder Pal Singh says that no one has been injured and no damage has been caused due to the intensity of the attack. He says that senior officers of Punjab Police and FSL team are investigating it.


Let us inform that the building of the headquarters of the Intelligence Unit of Punjab Police in Mohali was attacked with a rocket propelled grenade (RPG). During this, the sound of a loud bang was heard. The windows of the second floor of the building were broken in the attack. According to a statement issued by the Mohali Police, the blast occurred at around 7:45 pm at the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in SAS Nagar and so far no casualty or damage to property has been reported in the incident.
