According to sources, it has been informed that the Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested an Indian Air Force jawan on charges of espionage. According to the information, the name of the accused has been told as Devendra Sharma. It is alleged that an attempt has been made to collect sensitive information related to the Indian Air Force from him by first trapping Devendra Sharma in the honey trap.
According to the information received from the sources, along with asking for the names and addresses of higher officials from Devendra Sharma after being trapped in the honey trap, information has been extracted about how many radars have been deployed. Due to which there is a possibility of causing a lot of damage to the country in the future. At present, Delhi Police has arrested the accused Devendra Sharma on 6 May on the input of the intelligence agency.
According to Crime Branch sources, Devendra Sharma has been arrested from Dhaula Kuan. According to police sources, Devansar Sharma is a resident of Kanpur. It is being told that he became friends on Facebook with a female profile. After which Devendra Sharma was taken into the trap through phone sex and then an attempt was made to collect sensitive information from him.
The number from which the woman used to talk to Devendra Sharma is the number of the Indian service provider. At present, the police is trying to trace the woman, which can help further in this matter. There is a suspicion of the hand of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI in this whole work. According to the information received there, the police have also found some suspicious transactions in the bank account of the accused’s wife.
