The birth of nurse Florence Nightingale is celebrated
International Nurses Day started in 1947. Nurses Day is celebrated on the birthday of Nurse Florence Nightingale i.e. on 12th May. Along with Florence Nightingale, she was also a great social reformer. The way nurses took care of wounded soldiers during the Crimean War is commendable.
