CBSE: As part of the administrative reshuffle by the central government, 1994 batch IAS officer Nidhi Chhibber has been given the charge of the new chairman of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Nidhi Chhibber, a 1994 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of Chhattisgarh cadre, is currently posted as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Heavy Industries.

In an order issued by the Personnel Ministry, Nidhi Chhibber is being appointed as the Chairperson of CBSE in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India. Chhibber has done MA in History subject. He has also obtained LLB degree. Apart from this, he has also done PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights.

Reshuffle w as done including appointment of 17 officers

Earlier, Vineet Joshi was working as the chairman of CBSE. Vineet Joshi completed his education from Allahabad as well as had a graduation degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. The reshuffle has been done, including the appointment of a total of 17 officers of the level of Joint Secretary and Additional Secretary on different posts in the departments and organizations of the Central Government.

Vivek Kumar Devangan, a 1993 batch IAS officer of Manipur cadre, has been made the Chairman of REC Limited in the Ministry of Power. He is currently posted as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Power. In addition, S Gopalakrishnan, Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, was appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
