At the same time, Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, while replying to the tweets of the passengers, agreed and said that the matter will be investigated.


After the complaints of the passengers, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has asked the airlines to investigate the complaints regarding additional charges for boarding passes. Complaining about this additional charge of SpiceJet, some people on Twitter wrote, tagging the Union Minister on Twitter, to this tweet Scindia replied, ‘Agree with you. Will get it checked as soon as possible.


Several users on Twitter also wrote that there are many airlines in the country that insist on ‘web check-in’ and charge extra charges from passengers who are unable to do so. Not only this, some airlines are also charging those passengers who take boarding pass at the airport counter. The cost of check-in at the airport counter is Rs 200 per ticket. Many users complained that apart from SpiceJet, another airline company IndiGo has done the same thing. All these users have said in one opinion that this is injustice to the consumers.

Just a few days ago, SpiceJet was also in discussion about this matter, when its plane was disturbed due to air turbulence during landing at Durgapur Airport in Bengal and during this the luggage kept on the plane fell on the passengers. Due to this, 17 people were injured, out of which the condition of two became critical. Of these, 14 were passengers and 3 crew members. Most of the injured had sustained injuries on the neck, spine, shoulder and forehead.
