Actress Died In Bengaluru During Cosmetic Surgery: Emerging television actress Chethana Raj died after undergoing plastic surgery at a hospital in Bengaluru city. The victim’s family has alleged medical negligence in a ‘fat loss’ surgery procedure at a cosmetic centre, police said on Tuesday.
Chetna Raj (21) made her mark by acting in serials like ‘Doresani’ and ‘Geeta’. He was admitted to Dr. Shetty Cosmetic Center on Monday for plastic surgery. Police said that things got worse during the operation followed by anesthesia during ‘fat loss’ surgery at the hospital. Anesthetist Dr. Melvin rushed her to Kade Hospital as soon as the actress suffered a heart attack.
For how many minutes was CPR given?
According to the complaint lodged by Dr. Sandeep V of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Kade Hospital, Dr. Melvin rushed the actress to the hospital and ‘warned’ everyone to be treated as per his instructions. Dr. Sandeep also said that the victim’s pulse was not running and she was tried for 45 minutes of CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) but there was no response. Dr. Sandeep suspected that Chetna had been brought dead.
Dr. Sandeep said in his complaint that we strongly oppose such behavior of these doctors and if necessary we can decide to file a report against them. This incident does not seem normal.
What did the cosmetic center say?
At the same time, despite several calls and messages, no response has been received from Dr. Shetty Cosmetic Center. On the other hand, Chetna’s father K. Varadraj said that the hospital authorities told him that his daughter died of a heart attack. He has lodged a complaint with Basaveshwar Nagar police station alleging medical negligence.
Apart from this, a television actor who has worked with Chetna said on the condition of anonymity that Chetna was a promising and ambitious actress who wanted to achieve success soon.
