Telangana News: Telangana’s Labor Minister C Malla Reddy claimed on Sunday (November 27) that the state’s Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) will form the government at the center after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and after that the Income Tax raids will stop in the country.
Reddy told a gathering in Siddipet that if the KCR government comes to power at the Center in 2024, relief will be given in income tax across the country. There will be no raids. People can earn as much as they want and KCR will bring such a rule that people can voluntarily pay taxes. Whatever it is, change is necessary in the country.
Income Tax officials raided Reddy’s premises
Income Tax officials had recently raided the residence of Malla Reddy and his family members. Raids were also conducted in their educational institutions. During the raids, Reddy alleged that CRPF personnel accompanying the Income Tax officials manhandled his son.
There was also an allegation of obstructing the work of the police
Police had said that a case was registered against Malla Reddy on November 24 for allegedly obstructing the work of Income Tax officials, while a case was registered against an Income Tax official on the complaint of the minister’s son.
Telangana Labor Minister C Malla Reddy said that there are many students in our educational institutions. They (income tax officials) are saying that you have black money. You have stolen money. I haven’t seen anything like this anywhere. As long as KCR is there, I have no fear.
