Khalistani sleeper cells have become active once again in Delhi-NCR. Security agencies have also warned of a major attack. Sources in intelligence agencies told India Today that terrorist networks of Khalistani sleeper cells have been found active in the Delhi-NCR region. It was told that pro-Khalistan posters have been seen in many areas of West Delhi. This has created panic in the police as well.

According to media reports, Khalistani sleeper cells can carry out terrorist attacks in the National Capital Region. Pro-Khalistani posters are visible in Vikaspuri, Janakpuri, Paschim Vihar, Peeragarhi and other parts of West Delhi, security agencies suspect that a big conspiracy is being planned.

The pro-Khalistani posters from these areas were immediately removed by the local police and the walls were repainted. A case was also registered here under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) promoting enmity between two groups (153-B) and criminal conspiracy (120-B).

Police patrolling has been intensified in these areas and footage of CCTV cameras is also being scanned. Due to the input of intelligence agencies about Khalistani organizations planning to disturb peace and harmony in the capital Delhi, police have increased vigilance and the suspect is being closely monitored.
