‘Like a batsman…’, PM Modi gives important advice to students during ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’

Pariksha Pe Charcha: Prime minister Narendra Modi During the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ program at Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium on Friday (January 27), parents should not put pressure on children because of social status. At the same time, he advised the students to focus on their work to get out of any burden of expectations. Answering questions from students during the sixth edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ annual dialogue, PM Modi said that students should try to concentrate on their work.

The Prime Minister interacts with students, teachers and parents during this dialogue and discusses issues related to stress and exams. PM Modi also spoke strongly against the use of unfair practices in the examinations. He said that copying may help one in one or two exams but it does not benefit in the long run in life. The most important thing he said to the students was that never take the ‘shortcut’ route.

Prime Minister said – analyze your pressure
The Prime Minister said that the hard work of the students will always help them move ahead in life. He said that students should analyze the pressure being put on them at times to see whether they are underestimating their strength. Modi said that it is natural for family members to have expectations but if it is linked to social class or status then it is wrong.

Increase in the number of students participating in the program
He said that as a batsman concentrates on the ball thrown, ignoring the voices demanding fours and sixes from the audience. Similarly, students should also pay attention to their work. A record 38 lakh students registered this year to participate in ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’. According to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the enrollment of students is at least 15 lakh more than last year.
