Maharashtra News: People living in slums in Mumbai, Maharashtra get water after a lot of hardships. To overcome this problem, the Government of Maharashtra has inaugurated the “Water for All” policy. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray, Aslam Sheikh, BMC commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal, former Mayor Kishori Pednekar, Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad were present in the inaugural program of “Water for All” policy today.
Addressing the people, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘You must have seen that after many days I am speaking on the mike and that too with out the mask. Although I will speak well on May 14. Today I am happy that Mumbai Municipal Corporation will be the first Municipality to inaugurate the Water for All policy.
Along with this, he said that still many people in Mumbai are not getting clean water, for which this policy is being implemented. Along with this, the Mumbai Municipal Corporation is doing the work of providing water to those who are thirsty in Mumbai. He says that just as there is pollution in the air, in the same way the pollution of thoughts is also increasing a lot. He says that ‘Mumbai’s composition is such that it is built far below the sea. In such a situation, if a big wave comes, then water can come in the city.
CM Uddhav Thackeray while targeting BJP said that ‘just don’t say ‘achche din aayenge’, achche din just aa rahe hai, since when are they coming? There are only things to say. He says that as soon as elections come, big promises are made to the citizens. He said that he wants to say many more, but will not say today, on May 14.
