No changes in Sensex composition, Dr Reddy’s remains in benchmark index


The 30 components will not undergo any changes during the semi-annual rebalancing exercise, Asia Index, the index constitution arm of BSE, announced on Friday. The market was expecting to replace Dr Reddy’s in the 30-share benchmark , Shares of Dr Reddy’s zoomed 8.1 per cent. Meanwhile, Asia Index announced changes to the 50, BSE 100 and Sensex Next 50 indices. Adani Enterprises replaces Godrej Consumer Products in the Sensex 50 index. Trent, SBI Cards and IRCTC are some of the stocks included in the Sensex Next 50 index.
