The former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister said that his party will thwart all efforts of the BJP and if voted to power, will protect the rights of the people to write a new development story.

He said this while addressing party workers at Surankote in the border district of Poonch. He said that since August 2019, when the BJP-led central government abolished most of the provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution and bifurcated the state into two union territories, there has been no change in Jammu and Kashmir. And since they failed, they are trying to divert attention by creating differences, making Muslims fight with each other and torturing people, Abdullah said.
