Lieutenant Governor: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said the problems being faced by Kashmiri Pandits working in the Kashmir Valley, including security concerns, would be resolved.

Special investigation team is investigating the murder of Rahul Bhat

He said this while replying to a question about the claims of National Conference leader Omar Abdullah and Peoples Democratic chief Mehbooba Mufti that the security situation in the Valley is deteriorating. Sinha said that the Special Investigation Team is probing the unfortunate murder of Rahul Bhat. Last week, Bhat was killed by terrorists in Budgam district.

Earlier after Bhat’s killing, Sinha said that terrorists and their supporters will have to pay a very heavy price for this heinous act. The Lieutenant Governor met the relatives of Kashmiri Pandits amid the ongoing protests in the Valley against the killing of Bhat. He tweeted, met the family members of Rahul Bhat and assured justice to the family. The government stands with the family of Rahul Bhat in this hour of grief. Sinha said that terrorists and their supporters will have to pay a very heavy price for this barbaric act.
