Opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha calls PM Modi and Rajnath Singh’s office, seeks support


Opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha: Opposition’s candidate in the presidential election Yashwant Sinha on Friday addressed the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh (Rajnath Singh) for their support for the elections to be held on July 18. Sinha also called up Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and reminded him of the commitment of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) when he (Sinha) was nominated as the joint opposition candidate for the presidential election.


Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) sources said, “We have started our campaign and will reach out to everyone to seek support in the elections.” He said Sinha called the offices of Modi and Singh and left a message in support of his candidature. The former Union minister also contacted his mentor and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader LK Advani. Sinha will file his nomination papers on Monday afternoon in the presence of top opposition leaders.


JMM also went in support of Murmu
The JMM and the Janata Dal (Secular) led by former prime minister HD Deve Gowda are seen in support of NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu, who filed her nomination papers on Friday. Sinha, who was expected to launch his presidential campaign from his home state Jharkhand on Friday, was forced to delay it when it emerged that Soren was leaning in favor of Murmu, who belongs to the Santhal community. Huh.


Sinha wrote a letter to all opposition leaders
Meanwhile, Sinha wrote a letter to all the opposition leaders who have chosen him as their general candidate for the elections to be held on July 18. Sinha said, ‘I assure you and the people of India that if I am elected, without any fear or favour, the core values ??and guiding ideals of the Indian Constitution will be faithfully followed. I’ll keep it up. He said he plans to start his campaign by visiting as many state capitals as possible after filing his nomination papers on Monday. “I look forward to getting your support and guidance from you and the MPs and MLAs of your party,” Sinha wrote in the letter.
