PM Modi Greets People of Israel: Prime minister Narendra Modi Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted the citizens of Israel on the occasion of 75th Independence Day and expressed hope that the ties between the two countries will deepen in the coming years.

In a video message, Modi said, ‘On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day of Israel, on behalf of the Government of India and all Indians, I extend my warm greetings to all our Israeli friends.’

Earlier in the day, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar tweeted a message to his Israeli counterpart Yair Lapid, ‘My friend APM and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and the Government of Israel and the people of the country on their 74th Independence Day.
