Rahul Gandhi’s attack on the government over the increase in the price of LPG cylinder, compared with the prices of 2014


Rahul Gandhi on LPG Cylinder Price: Domestic gas prices have been increased once again, after which the Modi government is on the target of the opposition. Meanwhile, Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi also attacked the government. Regarding the increase in the price of domestic LPG cylinder, Rahul Gandhi said that only his party works for the betterment of the poor and middle class families.

Let us inform that on Saturday, the price of LPG increased by Rs 50 per cylinder, which is the second increase in prices in more than six weeks. Regarding this, Rahul Gandhi compared the prices of domestic cylinders in a tweet. He told that in 2014 the price of LPG cylinder was Rs 410 with a subsidy of Rs 827 in the Congress-led government, while in 2022 under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led government it cost more than Rs 999 and also the ‘subsidy’ ‘is null.


The former Congress president said, “The price of one cylinder today is equal to the cost of two cylinders then. Only Congress works for the betterment of poor and middle class Indian families. This is the core of our economic policy. Let us tell you that Rahul Gandhi has been continuously targeting the central government regarding inflation and unemployment. Now once again Rahul and opposition leaders are trying to surround the government on the increase in the prices of LPG cylinders.
