Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha: While discussing the President’s address, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi raised several issues in the Lok Sabha. During this, he fiercely targeted the central government and shared the experiences of Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said that while walking during the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, the Congress listened to the voices of the people and the party also kept its voice. Congress talked to children, women and elders during the yatra. People shared their pain.
Rahul Gandhi said that during the yatra, when youths were asked about their jobs, many said that they are unemployed or drive Uber autos, farmers talked about not getting money under the PM-insurance scheme. Their land was taken away from the tribals. People also talked about Agniveer scheme but the youth of India told us that they were asked to leave after 4 years. Retired senior officers said that Agniveer Yojana came from RSS, Home Ministry and not from Army.
‘Travel started talking to us’
Rahul Gandhi said that today the tradition of traveling on foot has ended. In the beginning, while walking, we were listening to the voices of the people, but it was also in our heart that we should also keep our point. We talked to thousands of people, talked to elders and women. This is how the journey started talking to us.
Rahul Gandhi lashed out at Adani
Rahul Gandhi also raised the issue of Adani. He said, “In 2014, Adani was at number 609 in the list of world’s richest people, don’t know if magic happened and he came at number two.” People asked how did this success happen? And what is his relation with the PM of India? Let me tell you that this relationship started many years ago when Narendra Modi Was the Chief Minister.
He said that airport rules were changed for Adani, rules were changed and who changed the rules is an important thing. It was a rule that if someone is not in the business of airport then he cannot take these airports. Government of India changed this rule for Adani.
