Railway Initiative! Bharat Gaurav train will run between Ayodhya-Janakpur from this day


Bharat Gaurav Train: Bharat Gaurav tourist train of Indian Railways will start a 7-day special journey from February 17, covering the two most important pilgrimage sites of India and Nepal. Under the Shri Ram-Janaki Yatra route, the train will run from Ayodhya to Janakpur in Nepal. This initiative will strengthen bilateral ties and also promote cultural ties between the two countries.


This tour includes two nights stay in hotels. There will be one in Janakpur and one in Varanasi. The tourist train will include travel to Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Kashi and Prayagraj as an additional attraction in tourism. Ayodhya, Sitamarhi and Prayagraj will also be covered during the yatra.

The train has four first AC coaches, two second AC coaches, a well-furnished pantry car and two rail restaurants. 156 passengers can travel in it. The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train launch is in line with the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ initiative of the Government of India to promote domestic tourism. The package for this seven-day train journey will start from Rs 39,775 per person. This package includes train travel, night stay in AC hotels and food and drinks.


Train will stop at Sitamarhi in Bihar

The first stop of this journey will be in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama. Here tourists will visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and Hanuman Temple. The train will stop at Sitamarhi in Bihar. After this, the passengers will go to Janakpur in Nepal by bus, which is 70 km away from Sitamarhi railway station.

Passengers can pay in EMI

To make this package more attractive and affordable for the large population, IRCTC has tied up with Paytm so that this money can also be given in EMI. Passengers can avail EMI payment option to pay in EMIs of 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 or 24 months. This EMI payment option can be done with the help of debit / credit card.
