RCP Singh said – no one wanted to make Nehru PM in Congress, Sardar Patel was everyone’s choice

Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini Seminar: Union Minister and leader of Janata Dal United RCP Singh was speaking at a function on ‘Familyism and its Political Consequences’ organized by Rambhau Mhalagini Prabodhini, a think tank organization of RSS, today. Singh said that Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) and Nitish Kumar are examples in this matter, for whom their people are their family. JDU leader and Union Minister RCP Singh made such a statement today, which BJP will be very happy to hear.

RCP Singh fiercely attacked India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru and his family for the beginning of familyism. The JDU leader claimed that no one within the Congress wanted to make Nehru the Prime Minister after independence. According to him, the organization in the Congress and the members of the Congress Working Committee wanted Vallabhbhai Patel to become the Prime Minister. RCP Singh said in the context of familyism that the foundation of familyism was laid in the politics of the country only then.

RCP Singh attacks Nehru on familyism

RCP Singh explained in detail how leaders like Patel and Ambedkar were disregarded within the Congress due to familyism. He said that the very next year after the introduction of Bharat Ratna in 1954, that is, in 1955, Nehru took the Bharat Ratna, while Patel was given the Bharat Ratna in 1991 along with Rajiv Gandhi. This statement of RCP Singh is shocking because till date Nitish Kumar and other JDU leaders have avoided directly attacking Jawaharlal Nehru.

RCP Singh’s term in Rajya Sabha is ending
Interestingly, RCP Singh’s term in Rajya Sabha is coming to an end and there is suspense in Bihar politics whether Nitish Kumar will send him to Rajya Sabha again or not. Next month there is an election for 5 seats of Rajya Sabha in Bihar, for which the last date for filing nominations is May 30. Today, the party’s candidate for the by-election to the Rajya Sabha in Bihar, Anil Hegde, filed his nomination in Patna, in which all the big leaders of the party including Nitish Kumar participated. However, due to his stay in Delhi, RCP Singh could not reach the nomination.
