Ajmer Sharif Dargah: Amidst the ongoing controversy at religious places across the country, the claim of having a pagoda in Ajmer’s Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Dargah is now in discussion. A Hindu organization has demanded a survey of Chishti Dargah by claiming the place of the dargah to be a temple. For this, a letter has also been written to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot. Due to which now the security of this famous dargah of Ajmer has been increased.
administration on alert
Ajmer district administration is on alert after this new claim related to Ajmer’s Dargah. The security of the dargah has been beefed up and top officials are also visiting the dargah. A large number of police forces have been deployed around the dargah. On Thursday, Ajmer’s SDM City Bhawna Garg also visited the dargah and took stock of the security arrangements.
Temple-mosque debate at the holy shrine
In fact, an organization named Maharana Pratap Sena has made this big claim of having a temple instead of a dargah. Let us tell you that not only Muslims but Hindus also bow their heads at the dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer. Here people come from far and wide and offer the sheet of faith. But this organization has also raised a temple-mosque dispute regarding the holy dargah and is now demanding a survey.
The Anjuman Committee has objected to this claim of the Hindu organization. Wahid Angara, secretary of the Anjuman Committee, said that nothing wrong would be tolerated for the dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti. If anyone tries to spoil the atmosphere, then he will be given a legal answer.
