Rajya Sabha Election: This time in the Rajya Sabha elections, Shiv Sena is going to field two candidates. Party’s chief spokesperson Sanjay Raut said on Wednesday that he will be the party’s first candidate and second candidate Sanjay Pawar for the Rajya Sabha elections to be held on June 10. Both will file their nomination papers for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections on Thursday. During this, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will also be present there.
With the names of both the candidates coming out, this time Sambhaji Raje’s address has been cut from Shiv Sena’s side. At the same time, if sources are to be believed, a condition was placed in front of Shivaji’s descendant Sambhaji Raje that if he wants to go to the Rajya Sabha, then he will have to join the party. On the other hand, he was adamant on his point of contesting the elections as an independent candidate.
