‘State government should give permission immediately’
The state unit of the BJP alleged that some party workers were injured during the police action. The party demanded that the state government immediately give permission for the march and public meeting. It is noteworthy that last year and in 2020, there were clashes between groups belonging to different communities in Bhainsa city.
‘Don’t consider restraint as compulsion’
Telangana’s BJP chief Sanjay Kumar targeted the government by tweeting. He wrote, “Police are beating and arresting BJP workers in Nirmal. Even when he was going to meet the SP, he was stopped and badly beaten.” The BJP leader also demanded the unconditional release of the workers. Sanjay Kumar wrote on Twitter- “Don’t make the mistake of considering our restraint as compulsion..”
‘It’s a shame to cancel permission’
BJP’s National Vice President DK Aruna targeted the Telangana government over the police action. He said that not allowing the visit of Sanjay Kumar is a cowardly act of KCR. DK Aruna further said that KCR is trying to stop ‘Praja Sangram Yatra-5’ out of fear of defeat. “It’s a shame to have given permission and revoked it again.”
