On the other hand, Srinagar Police has arrested 2 local hybrid terrorists of banned terrorist organization Lashkar / TRF. IG Kashmir says that incriminating material, arms and ammunition including 15 pistols, 30 magazines, 300 rounds and 1 silencer have been recovered. A case has been registered in this regard and investigation is going on at present. The police is considering it a big success for itself.

June 15 deadline

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday set June 15 as the deadline for completion of all works related to the annual Amarnath Yatra this year and said the administration’s priority is to ensure best facilities for the pilgrims.

Sinha reviewed the preparations for the yatra at a high-level meeting at the Raj Bhavan here. The Deputy Commissioner, Senior Superintendent of Police and officers of Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) also attended the meeting. The Lieutenant Governor said that ensuring best facilities for the pilgrims is the priority of the administration. He fixed June 15 as the deadline to complete all the works related to Shri Amarnathji Yatra. The yatra will start from June 30 this year on both Pahalgam and Baltal routes.
