Raipur Helicopter Crash: A major accident has happened at Raipur airport in Chhattisgarh last night. During the landing at the airport, the helicopter crashed in which two pilots died. Expressing grief over the accident, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has offered condolences to the families of the deceased pilots.
Raipur SSP Prashant Agarwal said that Captain Gopal Krishna Panda and Captain AP Srivastava have died in this accident. The helicopter crashed at 9:10 am. On receiving information about the incident, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed grief by tweeting that, just now, sad information was received about the crash of the State Helicopter at the airport in Raipur. In this tragic accident, both our pilots Captain Panda and Captain Srivastava have sadly passed away. May God give strength to his family members and peace to the departed soul in this time of grief.

An official statement has come from the state government on the helicopter crash. There is a state government helicopter which crashed during the landing at 9:10 tonight. Two pilots aboard have died. The helicopter was on a routine training flight after which it suddenly crashed. Initially a technical fault was said to be the reason behind the accident. To find out the exact cause of the accident, a detailed technical investigation will be done on the orders of DGCA and the state government. At the same time, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has ordered to provide immediate relief to the families of the deceased pilot.
