Delhi Mundka Fire Update: A massive fire broke out in a building near Delhi’s Mundka metro station, due to which many people were trapped in the building. Till the time of writing the news, about 26 people died in this painful accident. As the flames began to engulf the building, screams were heard everywhere. People started running here and there to save themselves and their loved ones.
At the same time, some people also jumped from the building to save their lives. According to reports, some people were jumping from the building with the help of rope. Atul Garg, director of Delhi Fire Service, told at around 10.30 pm that relief work is going on. The fire broke out in a three-storey commercial building. Rescue workers are yet to reach the third floor. The death toll may increase further.
According to Sunil Chaudhary, Deputy Chief Fire Officer of the Fire Service, the fire was so severe that people jumped from the building to save their lives, after which they were admitted to the hospital in an injured condition.
