Amarnath Yatra 2022: Amarnath Yatra is going to start after two years between 30 June and 11 August due to the Corona crisis in Jammu and Kashmir. Administrative preparations for this visit are in full swing these days. Every small and big things are being taken care of by the administration for the convenience of the devotees. In this sequence, a police team of Ganderbal Police conducted a security survey of the route and reached the cave. During this, the team has also shared the first picture of Baba Barfani.
Let us tell you that the Amarnath cave is situated amidst the snowy mountains of Kashmir. Shivling made of ice is worshiped in this cave. Amarnath cave is considered to be one of the main religious places of Lord Shiva. The first security review meeting was held yesterday i.e. on 15 May 2022 regarding the preparations and arrangements for this year’s visit. In which top administrative and security officials should be present. In this meeting, some important decisions were taken mainly in view of the safety of the pilgrims.
It was decided during the meeting that to ensure the safety of the pilgrims and to monitor their movement, radio frequency identification would be used. Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board CEO Nitishwar Kumar said that the pilgrimage will be organized for 43 days.
Yatra will be organized from 30 June to 11 August
It will be held from 30 June to 11 August. Insurance coverage period for pony operators has been increased to 1 year. This was the first security review meeting for the annual pilgrimage beginning June 30. The Yatra could not be organized for the last two years due to the corona virus epidemic.
Registration process has started from 11th April
People willing to go on Amarnath Yatra can register from April 11. Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board gave information about this by tweeting. The Yatra will end on 11 August 2022.
