Bihar Politics: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan meets Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna. He reached Patna late last evening after which he met Nitish Kumar. Both the leaders have met in a closed room. It is being told that Dharmendra Pradhan’s visit to Bihar has happened in a very secret way.
According to sources, in this meeting there was a discussion regarding the expansion of the cabinet, after which it is believed that the cabinet may be expanded soon in Bihar. Ministers with poor performance from BJP quota can be dropped and some new faces, especially youth, can be included in the BJP Bihar cabinet. According to sources, BJP MLA Shreyasi Singh, Nitish Mishra etc. can get a place in the cabinet.
Total six seats vacant
Let us tell you, five seats were kept vacant in the Bihar cabinet. Mukesh Sahni was removed from the post of minister, due to which a total of six seats have become vacant. A Rajya Sabha seat has fallen vacant due to the death of JDU’s Rajya Sabha MP King Mahendra. Election has been announced on this 1 seat. There was also a discussion between the two leaders regarding the election to be held on this one seat of Rajya Sabha.
Dharmendra Pradhan also met Education Minister Vijay Chaudhary
After meeting Nitish, Dharmendra Pradhan reached the State Guest House in Patna where he was met by Bihar Education Minister Vijay Chaudhary. During that time, Vijay Chaudhary has mentioned about the problems being faced by the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. There has also been a demand to change the standards in states like Bihar to open Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bihar.
