Varanasi: The situation outside the Gyanvapi Masjid turned tense on Saturday when a youth raised slogans after which the police took him into custody. The name of the young man is Abdul Kalam. In fact, the police raised some objection to the large number of people coming to the mosque to offer prayers at five o’clock in the evening, on which a person got agitated and started shouting ‘Allah-hu-akbar’. This police took him into custody and took the young man to the police station.

Meanwhile, in the Gyanvapi Masjid-Shringar Gauri case, the court has reserved its decision for now. After hearing the application of the Muslim side, the court has reserved the decision.
