Mamata Banerjee On BJP: West Bengal Chief M inister Mamata Banerjee alleged that BJP’s rule is worse than Hitler and Stalin. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government is destroying the federal structure of the country. Mamta accused the central government of interfering in the affairs of the state by using agencies.


Addressing a conference in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee claimed, “The BJP regime is worse than Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin or Benito Mussolini.” He said that autonomy should be given to central agencies to protect democracy. “The agencies should be given autonomy and allowed to function fairly without any political interference,” he said.

Center targeted for reducing oil prices
He further said that the BJP-led central government is using central agencies to interfere in the affairs of the state. Tughlaqi rule is in force in the country. At the same time, on the announcement of the Center to cut fuel rates and give subsidy of Rs 200 on LPG to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala scheme, Mamta Banerjee said that BJP does this before any election. There is only a small part of the BPL category under the Ujjwala scheme. How will poor people buy domestic gas at Rs 800?


The central government made these announcements
Let us tell you that, giving a big relief, the Central Government has reduced the excise duty on petrol and diesel on Saturday. The Center has reduced tax by Rs 8 on petrol and Rs 6 on diesel. After which petrol has become cheaper by Rs 9.50 and diesel by Rs 7. Apart from petrol and diesel, the government had also given relief to those buying gas cylinders and decided to give a subsidy of Rs 200 per gas cylinder to the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme. Announcing this, Nirmala Sitharaman said, “We will give a subsidy of Rs 200 per gas cylinder (up to 12 cylinders) to more than 9 crore beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. This will help our mothers and sisters.”
