Punjab Vijay Singla Corruption Case: Police arrested Vijay Singla on Tuesday, shortly after he was sacked from the state cabinet by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on charges of corruption in Punjab. Singla was the Health Minister of the state. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that Vijay Singla was allegedly demanding one percent commission in the tenders and purchases of his department. Chief Minister Mann has claimed that Singla has accepted the wrongdoing i.e. asking for commission.
What is the whole matter?
In Punjab, about ten days ago, an official had reported about the corruption being carried out by Vijay Singla in the Chief Minister’s Office. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann himself assured the officer that he is with him and he does not need to be afraid of any minister. No person involved in corruption will be spared. An operation was carried out with the help of the officer, in which it came out clearly that the minister was demanding one percent commission of Vijay Singla and his special identity.

Action on Singla after getting evidence
After recording this entire matter and after getting all the evidence, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took action. As well as god value (Bhagwant Mann) has also clearly told all the officers that any kind of corruption will not be tolerated at all. Let us tell you that it has been hardly two months for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to form the government in Punjab. Vijay Singla has been elected MLA from Mansa assembly seat. He defeated Punjabi singer and Congress candidate Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu in the assembly elections.
